I LOVED this movie. And just so you know, I am a 45 year old mother of three who normally watches only scifi movies. I hate romantic comedies, although I did really like the Hangover movies, and Pineapple Express. The characters were great, especially Jeff Pants (though I was disappointed to discover there is no real Pantspants website) and the story was funny and interesting. The only really bad part was played by the girl who was the fake Jessica. So, yes, if this movie was made I would go see it.

I was WANTING to hate this script -- due to its title -- BUT FELL IN LOVE WITH IT!
Ok... rain check. I'm 40... and used to play D&D as a kid/adolescent. As a person of age I now know how technology has progressed and can translate this like a BABEL-FISH for the current and future generation.
I'm in. I'll throw in a proposal. Watch this space.
I've based my proposal on DONNIE'S 1st Draft -- as that's the one AmazonStudios first links to when pressing the (link to script on the competition page).
I've also noticed that DONNIE has posted a 2nd Draft... which I guess MUST factor into the equation somewhere.
Is it a Studio gig in order to better the 2nd draft???
Karl - all their notes are based on the first draft. From what I can tell they want a page one rewrite.

In my first run-through... I did a simultaneous 'punch-up' of DONNIE'S 1st draft.
Now that I've done a 'scaffolding treatment' a treatment based on the 1st draft -- I now just need to rearrange the scaffolding to enhances the roller-coaster ride and other secret stuff :-)
I've just uploaded my proposal with 24 days to go. In real-life that'd be enough time to rehash if the development team needed to or wished to add their tuppence.
