Adelaar deals with the legend of the Flying Dutchman. My home looks out over the waters of the Cape Peninsula where it all happened, and slowly the story came to me.

It is a fantasy-drama, based on the fact that for a century or more, the Protestant Dutch, fresh out of a war with Catholic Spain, had the monopoly on the route from Europe to the Far East. Anybody who wanted to travel, Catholic to Japanese, had to do so on a Dutch East Indiaman.

I loved your trailer.

And I watched your earlier one, made before they allowed them, when they were called "short test movies". Nice use of sound effects and music. Really brings you right into it.

And you voice is lovely. Your accent fits the story! ;)
