Looking for like-minded co-writer

Greetings, all!

I am an amateur writer of 15 years and am trying to finally get the script done for a long-brewing idea. It is high-concept sci-fi/fantasy, with strong character, dramatic, and action elements. I truly feel it is a great and unique idea(don't we all), and have a general idea of where the story would go. I just need some fresh eyes and mind for an objective view; someone to help me flesh out the characters, scene details, and whatever great ideas you, as a like-minded writer, may have. I also am trying to create some really original sci-fi visuals/concepts that haven't really been seen before but are based in reality. Below is the synopsis, please let me know what you think.

"Late in the 21st Century, mankind has been saved from the brink of extinction by a group of genetically-altered superhumans, known as "The Eight". The Eight possess a wide range of astonishing powers, have created an unprescedented global peace, and are worshipped by many. But who are these mysterious "heroes" and why does a small band of outlaws want to bring them down? The journey to the truth...and possibly the end...begins."

Sounds interesting. Sci-fi is my main genre. Would love to get onboard but right now tying to finish up a revision of one of my scripts and halfway through wriing another, that if the screenplay contest continues, I'm uploading. But I'm pretty sure someone in the A.S.community would be willing to hop on the train to help you with your endeavors.

No I didn't yet...do you recommend one in particular? I am in need of a good example of how to showcase action scenes, transitions, beats, etc.

love -- nothing is going on around here at the moment. amazon studios is in limbo. that shouldn't keep you from writing. but the only thing constructive you can do around here right now is read scripts and post reviews.

Lisa, I was following you because you are listed as a top reviewer, so I figured I could find some decent scripts to check out through what you reviewed.

I like the logline. PM me with more specifics and we can talk. My one script that's up here is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum, but feel free to check it out to see if you think we'd be good collaborators.

The logline seems interesting. I'd be interested in helping to develop something like this. Throw me a line. I'm somewhat experienced in writing sci-fi. You can find my first screenplay up on here, which is a sci-fi, though different from what you have going.
