[Claire struggles to protect her adopted mute daughter from her birth mother, Mary...a suspected serial killer.]
This is one of those rare dramatic thrillers where the main characters ages range from 17 to 65. For the lead teenage roles I think new faces would be great or actors who are already starring in television shows as opposed to films. I love going against type when casting. It adds an extra edge of unpredictability to the film and also let's the actors stretch their acting boundaries. So for my adult roles I would choose:
Claire (65) -- Sissy Spacek
Mary (40) -- Julianne Moore
Bobby (41) -- Ed Norton
Miss Matthews (52) -- Loretta Devine
Geocache is a female James Bond film. Character's name is Victoria Kavanaugh who is described as one of the most beautiful women in the world. I need Katheren Haigle. But there is a cameo part that has Danny Divito written all over it.
For my script, GENEVA IN GEORGIA,
Keke Palmer star of Tru Jackson VP on Nickelodeon is my Geneva Vick.

@Joseph - That sounds like a great line up!

Dominic Patinski is a loner with one friend in the world, Calvin Miller. Calvin, though, has missed a couple days of work. When Dom goes to Calvin's house he discovers Calvin dead, hanging from an apparent suicide.
Sheriff Sarah Lahnagan enjoys the slow paced town of Gladston, Michigan and the easygoing lifestyle of Keweenaw County. When an autopsy is done on Calvin it is discovered that he has in fact been murdered. She is thrust into an investigation to find the murderer.
Dom does not handle Calvin's death well, and in an act of pure anger and sadness, decides to take his own life. As he sets out into the wilderness to shoot himself he comes across a mysterious woman, Celeste. She is lost, but on a mission to find three individuals. Her promise to find these people is of vital importance, and she coerces Dom to help her.
Dom - Jake Gyllenhaal
Lahnagan - Jodie Foster
Celeste - Scarlett Johansson
I have one person reviewing my script who wrote
“This is a hard project to give a 3-star rating to. The amount of work and passion you put into this is worth 5 stars.
This contest is looking for the next, great, blockbuster, major motion picture. You have alot of story here, but would require permission from Miley Cyrus to release it. basically, what you've written is fan fiction. It's my opinion that fan fiction would not do well as a major motion picture. It's also a poor choice to write about a star's personal life.
Now, let's talk about the script and your actual writing style.
first, it's not in proper format. fix that up right away.
second, it's heavy on dialogue exposition. Where's the texture?
third, show. don't tell.
fourth, undefined elements. for example, who's Mandy?
fifth, you mix your tenses. "We see Miley looking rough and knocking on the door and Billy opens the door." first part is past tense; second part is present tense.”
When I was writing this script I was writing it with the intention that anyone who wants to make a movie from this, would ask Milev herself to be the lead actor. I do not think this is a poor choice because her presence alone can give the movie a marketing edge and perhaps financially successful. In addition, this whole Amazon scheme is at its infant stage and if they make movies with famous people to launch it. it will be a good publicity for Amazon studio and all those who are involved. However, even if they use another actor I am not sure if they need, to ask for milev's permission because this is not a biography of Miley: this is a work of fiction and you can write fiction about any person you like without their permission. Am I wrong on that last line?
You also said that my format is wrong, I have Courier New 12 RTF and that is what Amazon asked for so what is wrong with that? if he means something else can some please tell me.
Now; I am not saying that this is a bad review or anything I just want to get answers to my questions, and you all know we don’t have a lot of time!
Your comments please! I need quick answers
Thanks
I have no idea. lol

My screenplay Xochitl is a star making vehicle. I want to pick an unknown and sign her to a long term contract. Sort of what Carlo Ponti did with Sophia Loren.
For my script Bodies and Black Guys, I would love to have Kristen Stewart. Maria and I patterned our initial characterizations after her and I always kept her in mind while writing the part. Not so much the Twilight character, but some of the other characters she has played give me the sense that she could pull Ruthie off.
I have another script that's not on this site but it's called Restoring Chase. It has two leads, the chick, which is actually the "main" character I never quite picked an actress that felt right, and I searched and searched. But I would want her counterpart, Chase, to be Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
For my zombie script "Holiday from Hell", my friend and I had a certain cast in mind. It's a large ensemble of characters, but certain roles we wrote with specific actors in mind:
Bruce Campbell as Ben, the lead.
Vernon Wells (Bennet, the bad guy from Commando) as Vernon, Ben's old war buddy
James Avery (the Dad from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) as Mac, the fatherly manager of Burger World
Christopher Walken (in a cameo role) as Distraught Man

I wrote VILLAIN with Rainn Wilson in mind. I keep trying to get his attention on Twitter, but I think he's got his screenwriter blocker active.
Definitly I need Jim Carrey for my movie THE WWW MAN, but most of all I choose GOD to be my best friend and actor!

It is a unique blend of genres - sci fi action adventure with an ancient history twist and a strong connection to Celtic mythology, all this mixed with a reluctant superhero subplot and a pinch of romance.
Logline:
In the future the all-powerful Corporation hides a dark secret behind its facade and now the only one who has the chance to set things right is trapped back in our time, separated from his son... and maybe reunited with his long lost love.
About the "long lost love" I'd love to get Zooey Deschanel for example... There are many minor characters and I'd like to get cult actors like Christopher Lee, Rutger Hauer and Ron Pearlman...
My screenplay is written for an ensemble cast, so probably no stars.
Corridor Of Freaks. College age animal rights activists break into Genotexx Laboratories. Big mistake.

Got a pot smoking granny part for Betty White in http://studios.amazon.com/projects/105 :)
Happy early New Year, y'all.
@Martin - Hopkins is one of the best. Good choice.
@ John - Lohan is a good actor, I definitely don't judge your choosing her.
The Rock's a great actor. His performance in Walking Tall was brilliant as well.
My script, Bitch, is about a murderous, though slightly sympathetic Welshman who kidnaps a teenage, English girl. Absolute no brainer, but I would love to see Anthony Hopkins in there (with his awesome new beard). He's got a gentle quality about him that would be brilliant for when he sort of takes over the movie. He's the villain, but he's quite a sad, lonely figure. Anthony Perkins had a similar quality about him in Psycho.
For my lead character of Gilgamesh I see Dwayne Johnson being cast. And, no, not because of The Scorpion King, but rather because of Grid Iron Gang. He has the physical presence, a skin tone in tune with people of the region, and Grid Iron Gang showed that he has some genuine acting chops.
Let him grow a beard, have short crewed hair, and he'll be discernable from the character he played in Scorpion King. He's always been my first choice.
THE EPIC OF GILGAMESH
King Gilgamesh, half-god, half-mortal, was created to unite the world in peace. But soon, his perverted desires overtake him as he becomes a tyrant to his own people and of those abroad. With the arrival of the stranger Enkidu, Gilgamesh is ushered along a path that will either lead to his eventual demise, or the fulfillment of his original purpose. Taking on a quest for immortality, Gilgamesh will be forced to face down gods, monsters, his own personal demons and that which he fears most... death.
Based on the first piece of fiction ever written in human history, The Epic of Gilgamesh tells the story of a man that will find that there is a destiny waiting for all of us.

Killing Time With Kyle - a new stepmom with two extremely rough little boys finds herself facing a zombie attack on her hometown. Forced to save her new stepkids who fight her every step of the way she struggles both with keeping them alive from the zombies and not killing them herself.
I would pick an unknown actress - there is a fantastic improve comedian who has only had bit parts and cameos that I would chose for my lead - Michelle Toots Feren. I love her.
For the kids... they would probably have to be unknown as well because of their ages. I do love the little girl from "signs" but I believe she might be too old now.
Ooh I love Edward Norton! Sounds like a great script!

A brash speed skater is challenged by returning to competition if he trains a high-functioning autistic struggling to get into a speed skating program at the United States Olympic Education Center (USOEC).
For the three main characters (Blake Williams, Eric Stout, and Hanna Stout) that's a tuff call.
People might look at my strange, but I see this as an opportunity for Lindsay Lohan to do a rebound in her career, dress down, and play a former figure skater overwhelmed with raising her autistic younger brother who struggles to get into a pre-Olympic speed skating program at the USOEC, based on the campus of Northern Michigan University. It would break her "bad girl" image she has lately and I know she'd surprise everyone with a great performance.
For Eric Stout, I always thought Emile Hirsch would do a great job as a high-functioning autistic. I think he's a talented actor and this would give him another memorable role, like he did in 'Into the Wild'.
Blake Williams and the other characters who are speed skaters would be best played by speed skaters. I ran across several with acting experience, even Olympians with acting in their past, would do a great job because they could do their own skating. You can't "fake" short track.
Someone who comes to mind for Blake would be J.R. Celeski or Jordan Malone. We'd have to cross that bridge and battle over using real skaters for parts if this did become a production.
My name is Robert Butler and I have a screenplay on Amazon Studios called Forty Plus.
Computer operator Ben Rand, is about to be obsolete when the mainframe computer is scrapped and replace by network file servers and after losing his job, his wife kicks him out of the house and he goes out on a rampage. The only actor in my mind qualified to play that part would be Edward Norton!
If you liked the movie Falling Down with Michael Douglas then you'll love Forty Plus! Please trust me, Forty Plus is an easy, entertaining screenplay with wall to wall action just like Falling Down! Once you start reading it you cannot put it down because you can't wait to know what happens next! It's a crowd pleaser and it's just as funny and scary as the original Falling Down! After you saw the movie Falling Down weren't you saddened and disappointed that Michael Douglas died at the end and you wanted to see a Falling Down sequel? My friend, Forty Plus is the next best thing to a Falling Down sequel! Please read it- you will not be bored and you will not regret it! Thank you and have a nice day!
If you could choose the actor to play your lead character, who would it be?
Tell a little about your script, then who would play your main character if you could choose anyone.
