I know it's only been about a month since the first TV series were uploaded and we have 2 more weeks until their either kept or released, but has anyone heard anything from Amazon? If so, how long after you uploaded did they contact you with feedback?
Also, when do you think we'll hear any new about which shows they're considering?
I'm just curious as I've had one up for about 3 weeks and will be uploading another one sometime this week. Thanks!
I'm probably gonna upload one idea but my main one will remain offline until I get some clarification on an important element
Clarification on something in your script or clarification from Amazon about something?
Clarification on a 'co-creation': WGA/non-WGA
In the real-world...
If a 'mover and shaker' likes your script (downloads it) they're still more often than not... likely to be very busy with a full slate. Or else they'd not be a 'mover and shaker'.
Getting talent attached for that window of opportunity takes forever.
The no slow business like showbusiness.
Yahoo is now developing original web series content. I suspect google is not far behind to launch its own TV station too.
Seems that the Internet is making giant leaps forward in video content delivery. Will it be profitable?

Has anyone received more than 3 downloads on a Private submission for their TV pilot?
I can't wait to see what gets selected first. Seems like they are looking for fairly traditional sit coms from that little press release they did, but I really have no clue what they'll pick first.
Looks like a guy called Angel Castillo got contacted for his show...

Interesting huh?
Nice to see someone getting contacted. Nice find Jason.
I'm sitting pretty at 3. Or just sitting.

I was under the impression that normally AS does not call/mail unless your script is in a development slate.
I also wonder, weather they do it at the exact 45 day cut off date or did some scripts get picked up right away (like 10 or 20 days after posting).
In any case, Angel's show is incredible and I'd urge anyone to have a read. IMHO currently one (if not) THE best executed comedy on AS.
Indeed, Angel's is the only script I've given 5 stars so far...though, admittedly, I've yet to rate my own. :-P
A Participant says:
Well, since AS is nice enough to let one rate their own scripts I decided to 5/5 all of mine. At least I know 1 person relay read them through.
It seems OK with AS, so it's OK with me. But I do not rate scripts when they have an excessive number of 5/5 from people who only rate 1 script. I suppose a looser like that does not need my rating.
I wasn't making fun, Tony. No shame in being proud of your work. Besides, everyone seems to do it.
I think everyone gets 3 eventually. Does anyone have more?

100 deaths of Mort Grimley. And rightfully so.
Sorry, I meant private projects.
I, for one, am very excited about seeing Series start to appear on the Consider List or the Development Slate. There are some brilliant scripts on here and I would love to watch them on screen, where they belong...
Of course it could turn out that AS doesn't find anything they really like from the initial crop...
Absolutely possible. Would be a bit of a shame, though.
A Participant says:
It would be really cool of them to give out a word "Hey, folks we are not really searching for what you are doing... We want ... blah blah" in stead of waiting for 45 days and choocing to silently ignore all the "misses" we write.
It's not that hard to do a little statistics if Amazon's TV shows ideas are sliding in a wrong direction. They invested some money into this website and pro readers, they might as well get a bang for the buck. Right?
I'd think they are pleased with what's presented, other ways they'd already give us more direction.
That is a fair point. I wonder why they're not pouncing on stuff as soon as they see it, though, rather than possibly waiting for the 45 days. And, of course, if I wanted to update my series bible the clock starts again. Sheesh
They actually did give some feedback a few weeks back on what they were and weren't looking for:

It probably doesn't say a great deal more in that article than their original remit anyway

@john
Well, because stakes are so low when we write our stuff, they make them a bit higher artificially. I can crank out scripts faster than I can read them, but they will be riddled with inconsistencies, errors and bad grammar. If I am quick on the finger, I get penalized for an other 45 days. Fair enough.
@Jayesh
Yes. read that. And knowing they contacted Angel Castillo, it seems we are not shooting too far away.
