Hi George.
Would love to have a shot. See my script Book of Hours if you'd like a sample of my writing.

Almost ten years ago, I sold a big, brash, 'Eddie Murphy / Martin Lawrence' type number to Working Title UK. I sold it as a treatment and developed it as a UK screenplay, as this was where financing was going to come from.

To cut to the chase, I wrote some great set pieces and there's a great structure to the story -- but the script lacked some heart and the characters were thin. Working Title kinda lost faith and with no natural UK Eddie Murphy to champion a film with a $4-5 million budget -- it got put on back burner.

The natural home for this screenplay is America. For me, I've moved on... but Amazon Studios seems perfect to give this script a new life. I am happy to pass on all my thoughts, notes plus new treatment ideas to bring this script to life. In fact I will bend over backwards to make this work for the right writer.

So you like Honey Mane, and fancy perhaps giving this a go, then drop me a line here. (I won't be submitting it for a while cos I have enough on my plate, but it's good to get ball rolling.)
