Ariane B says:
Alex Grattan's story deals with the personal loss of self we all face when what we imagine to be success eludes us. Alex's protagonists don't start out as heroes. They are men trying to succeed in the ordinary sense only to find something much more rewarding in the end. I think Alex is a wonderful story teller and, after years in the movie business and a number of awards, he knows how to tell his story in a way that captures our attention. The fact that he does so while bridging two cultures makes the story richer and more meaningful.
