I shall begin with the technical issues on the sailing side. A Fathom is 6 feet, You cannot get any deeper in the ocean than 6,028 fathoms. The acceleration to 6,000 fathoms is a bit silly.

Reactors to not explode in to Mushroom clouds. The pressure at 6,000 fathoms would contain the explosion.

How did the cellphone take a picture of submarine?
"If he’s got satellite, then he can
get internet. We can get a message out-" NO, no, no, it does not work that way.

As to the Story itself it has some trouble. A Sheik on a yacht with hot chicks? The depth of the water around The World Islands is not very deep...How would an Arab crew understand Hebrew?
The Admiral and Staff figuring out the Nautilus is alive so easy?
Angelina Jolie as the UN Goodwill Ambassador after being in Tomb Raider movies?
Pirates attack a decommissioned Cruiser?

The use of Cold War Enemies is an old story.

I read the whole treatment and Kudos for creating a story but this needs work and there are too many holes in it for me to explain.

What is your plan for the next version?

Haven't read the script but...

... what if North Korea calls thier bluff? The new President of North Korea is totally insane and refuses to cave? And since North Korea refuses to obey, neither does America or China.

What does Captain Nemo do then? Is there a Plan B?

Working on reading through the script now, and I have to agree with the first poster. The glaring errors on submarine operation, physics, and even math, mar a decent modernization of an old story. I know this is a first draft, so I suggest you do a little research or consult someone who can help you with the details before you attempt a re-write. That said, I think the idea is decent and hope you can pull it off.
