I saw it on Nightline. Less than 3 months 8 million sold 50 Shades Of Mediocore Writing.

I have read it and found it interesting. But 8 million sold 1.2 million advance and 5.2 million movie rights. plus a royalty. hunger games was well written, but 50.... makes Twilight look like a Pulitzer winner. I would thank those two writers. one can learn alot about self publishing.

1. 50 shades. straight kindle Ebook, hit facebook 24/7 send a million tweats. sell it for 99 cents. and make 200K before any of the big boys even bid for it.
2.pay a PRO to create book cover. a shirtless hunk will not sell books. that doesnt tickle the imagination. looks like every other supermarket paperback.
3. sex sells. nothing changes.
