were do i start

As you can tell I'm new here,everything seems cool, I wanted to start with dialogue, so do I just read a script pick one or more characters, record the dialogue upload and wait and see if I get feedback or win money?

I really don't know, but I would like to find out. I have contacts throughout my school system to great voice actors, and i am looking forward to directing some table reads. i think the easiest way to get noticed is to review things, though, and thats what i am starting with.
