Matthew B. Morrell says:
In response to a very unhappy reviewer, and rightfully so, I must make absolutely clear that the character of Adrian Wackier is NOT a homosexual man. I am currently working on a revision to this draft to make it clear that Adrian is in fact a very flamboyant poser. His character is in no way meant to mock the gay community. I am in the works of making changes to paint it perfectly clear that Adrian is in fact a poser, and to further the theme of BNBB that acting like something you're not, or not striving to be who you really are is wrong and offensive.
Is Adrian meant to be offensive? Yes. As a character he represents an ignorant character trying to be something they're not. In this case, Robert Smith; which no amount of make up on any one could ever replace the original. However, his character is not intended to mock the homosexual community.
If there were any misconceptions about this particular character I again deeply apologize.
