Over / Under time

How many series will be optioned by Amazon by 9/1/12? I'm setting the over under at 2.5, do you think it will be over or under that total?

I'm betting the number will be slightly above your projection, Andy. I've counted about 3-4 series worthy of option thus far. That is, if I'm to believe this except from an AS interview on what they're looking for in a project:

"...all of our shows need to take place in specific, well-defined worlds...places people haven’t seen before. So a bunch of underemployed New Yorkers in an overly nice apartment is most likely not right for us (same goes for doctors/lawyers/cops). The most important thing is that the audience should feel like they’re watching something they can’t see anywhere else."

I think this is very subjective though, Ryan :)

2 on the development slate

If they go the route as they have for films.

I am waiting with baited breath. Exciting stuff

1-3 on the 'underdeveloped consider list'.

When money is then injected 'every page' can then be punched-up with finesse, because there's a reason to.

Oh well... Then again, the last version of the script I uploaded still has 30-35 more days of the free option... Just hoping here that they are takin full advantage of it... Hoping being the key word. In all reality, I'm almost certain the scripts won't be chosen.
