Amazon Studios is offering a total of $15,000 in awards for the best trailers created for our comedy project I Think My Facebook Friend is Dead. Unlike traditional trailers used for marketing completed films, these trailers are your take on what you’d like the movie to ultimately become: a romantic comedy, say, or a road-trip romp. You can use existing footage from the project, or create new footage to convey your vision of the film (live action, animation, or even an animatic/storyboard). See full contest details.
Our goal at Amazon Studios is to make theatrical motion pictures from great stories. These are the projects we're actively developing to make into a movie. Check them out and tell us what you think.

Test movies are inexpensive, full-length movies that tell the whole story of a script in a compelling way. They can be live-action or animated, drawn or computer-generated. The special effects may not be all that special, but the acting and sound should be.
The key, no matter what techniques are used, is that test movies help people imagine what a story would be like as a finished film.
Amazon Studios provides thousands of movie score, soundtrack music and sound effect tracks for registered filmmakers to use in video content at no charge.
