    This pilot sets up the five main characters and how they know each other. Beau, the country gay guy new to city life, Stephan an uber-fab gay who has to be sober for a year, Jay the open-minded straight guy, Deena the tomboyish rollergirl, and Athy is Beau/Stephan's conservative birthmother who disagrees with homosexuality.
