ANONYMOUS CELEBRITIES is a one of a kind sci-fi musical comedy romance drama thriller! Nerdy Herbert meets saintly Annie, but their budding romance might be derailed by a nasty punk rocker, a mad scientist, obsessed federal agents... and mysterious aliens!

Synopsis:
Nerdy Herbert meets saintly Annie, a lovely (and very religious) young lady, and finds himself literally and figuratively falling for her. Unfortunately, Herbert is falling because he just ran into Danny, the nastiest, dirtiest, meanest punk rocker in town... and it looks like Danny's falling for Annie too!
Herbert is a science student at the local college, and his professor is secretly communicating with aliens by transmitting them punk rock music at a special frequency. Herbert interrupts the professor during his latest communique. The professor stops the transmission and hides the evidence, attempting to maintain his secret. The aliens who were listening are disturbed by the cessation of the broadcast and immediately set a path toward earth to find out why.
Meanwhile, Danny and his punk rock band the Hateful Lovers are chosen to be in a worldwide televised battle of the bands.
As Danny and the Hateful Lovers rehearse, a van sits on the street nearby. Two FBI agents are inside the van, monitoring the band with high tech audio and visual surveillance. The FBI is trying to learn more about these mysterious transmissions they've been detecting, but they still can't find the source.
The FBI agents give up on the Hateful Lovers and drive back to headquarters. As they wait at a traffic light, the agents are abducted by the aliens.
The aliens interrogate the FBI agents about the location of the professor. The agents don't know anything, so the aliens soon release them with a warning: return the professor and resume the music transmissions by a specific date... or they will destroy the planet!
The agents return to FBI headquarters, where they all have a meeting. The agents discuss the information gained from the aliens and begin to focus their investigation on Herbert's professor.
At the college, the professor has been experimenting on a new way of transmitting energy through the air. Through a not-quite accident, Herbert ends up killing the professor. Actually, the professor's physical body is vaporized, but the professor is transformed being of pure electric energy, unable to move or communicate. Herbert tries to finish off the professor, but they both are electrocuted as Herbert touches him. Herbert passes out from the shock.
The next day, Herbert awakens, disoriented. He feels a strange static energy around him. The FBI agents arrive to question the professor. Herbert tries to get away, and the agents attempt to restrain him. The FBI agents are electrocuted as they touch Herbert.
After dispatching the two FBI agents, Herbert revels in his new found power and vows vengeance upon his romantic rival, Danny, and the girl who shunned him, Annie.
Danny is attempting to rehearse for the big show, but finds that wooing Annie is a major distraction. It doesn't help that Annie's churchgoing and clean living lifestyle is the polar opposite of Danny's dopey decadence. Danny ends up trying to change the Hateful Lovers from punk rock to Christian music, with decidedly mixed results.
Finally the day of the televised worldwide battle of the bands arrives. It's a even bigger day because it's the aliens' deadline.
Herbert confronts Danny, and Danny triumphs in their final showdown, splashing Herbert with water and causing him to short out.
A lovestruck Annie falls into Danny's arms. Just then the aliens arrive, ready to destroy the planet. As the aliens are about to pull the trigger, to everyone's surprise the professor suddenly begins to speak through Herbert. The professor had been part of Herbert's energy powers all along, but only now could communicate using Herbert's unconscious body. The aliens are relieved and call off their plan to destroy the earth just in time for Danny and the Hateful Lovers to take the stage for the big finale.
The Hateful Lovers win the battle of the bands! The aliens congratulate Danny and offer to show them their spaceship while they retrieve a present for the professor. Danny, Annie, and the aliens go up to the aliens' spaceship.
Down on earth, Herbert regains consciousness. In a final act of desperation, Herbert bites into the television cable, sending his electrical energy through the television network and around the world. The massive energy sets off all the nuclear missiles and explosives on the planet. The wave of electric energy builds upon itself and bounces back, killing Herbert along with everyone else on earth.
Danny, Annie, and the aliens on the spaceship are shocked. Everyone in the world is dead!
The aliens offer to take the couple back to the aliens' home planet, but Danny and Annie want to stay on earth.
The aliens use their technology to reduce the radiation levels, allowing Danny and Annie to return to earth and live happily ever after.
