Creative Notes:
The premise is dark, but trust this is a comedy. What violence there is is cartoonish enough, and the personalities exaggerated enough, that this show is funny without getting morbid or disturbing, that is, unless being morbid or disturbing can help a joke. Much like Archer, death and dying are treated flippantly, and as merely secondary to the characters' neuroses and petty conflicts.
Concept:
Mort Grimley, new to the Underworld after accidentally taking his own life, is offered a deal; get Hell's numbers up and maybe get a transfer out (and up), or face eternity in fire and brimstone alongside the cruel mother he tried to escape.
