Synopsis:
-UNDER THE AURORA-
In an ancient world, lost in time, thousands of years ago, Heriam, sacred
priest of his people, the Atlanteans, receives in a divine revelation a series of
prophesies about the future of mankind till the end of times. After writing those
prophesies in a book, and afraid that this foretelling may fall in the wrong hands, he
decides to hide the book, but a catastrophe strikes and destroys his nation,
preventing him from doing it, and so the book of destiny and its terrible contents
are lost from history… for now.
Centuries later, Phoenician sailors, Norse traders and people from Mesoamerica
briefly become owners of the book of destiny, which travels to the mysterious land
of the Toltec. There, angelic beings place de book in a native temple for safe
keeping, where it awaits in silence for the right time to arrive to human hands.
But not everything is over for the legend. Two angelic entities, deadly enemies,
have dedicated their existences to recover the book of destiny… with opposite
purposes.
Nathaniel, guardian of the light, with the mission of preventing the book falling in
human hands until man is ready for it. And Malachi, keeper of the darkness, whose
task is to obtain the holly book at any cost, and place it in the reach of man,
triggering a series of events that would lead to Armageddon, the final war and the
end of time.
They have fought each other, generation after generation, in a large chain of
deaths and reincarnations, over the possession of the book of destiny, the war not
having a clear winner of the prize, not yet in the 21 century.
Is at this point in time when their roads, driven by a capricious faith, intersect with
those of an ordinary human couple, ignorant of this divine war and focused in their
own banal troubles.
Anna and Charles, a young middle class couple with a troubled relationship are
deciding to split. She plans to go the countryside to start a new life, away from the
big city and away from him, who is a frustrated journalist.
They are far from realizing that in the upcoming trip they will come to face events
that will endanger their future, as well as the future of the entire human race.
It all starts with an unusual natural phenomenon: A huge solar storm that produces
an extraordinary Aurora Borealis visible almost in the entire planet. But this is not
only a beautiful show of lights that causes massive blackouts and a disruption in
the magnetic fields, it’s a lot more. As our heroes will find, it´s a portal in the time-
space continuum that will cause several people to be taken to ancient times and
distant places, in which, by pure chance, they will find themselves immersed in an
old battle over the possession of a book. A book that may put an end to the history
of mankind.
