There's a reason we're afraid of the woods. Five friends are about to find out why.
Synopsis: SEAN,22, and his best friend JASON load the back of Sean’s pickup truck in the parking lot of a college campus dorm. DJ pulls into the parking lot, as MANDY, Sean’s girlfriend, and her friend TRACY walk toward the truck. They all climb into the pickup truck, and head off to spend their Spring Break in the woods.

Jason and DJ ogle over Tracy as the three of them sit in the back seat. Sean and Mandy gently argue about how much time they spend with each other. Sean feels that Mandy need to give him a little more space, and alone time.

The truck eventually pulls up the gravel driveway of the White House with the Barn. Sean’s parents purchased the house and property online. The group spends the day drinking, smoking, shooting guns, and relaxing around the campfire. Other than the fire, it is pitch black outside. The dark forest creates a very unsettling atmosphere.

The next day, Sean starts off by doing some yard work. The girls hike down the paths on the 80 acre property. After lunch, Sean, DJ, and Jason decide to explore the cave. Sean turns on his headlamp, and makes his way down that dark entrance. The three of them make their way into two smaller chambers of the cave. Jason makes his way through a small crawl space that leads to a third chamber deep in the cave. This chamber is the last thing Jason will ever see.

Sean is the second to make his way into the third chamber. Sean is halfway into the chamber, and he sees Jason standing still, facing him. Jason’s headlamp is shining brightly in Sean’s eyes. Around the time Sean realizes something is wrong, Jason’s head is pulled up. His throat has been slit. A dark figure is standing behind Jason, holding up his dead body. A distorted mask slowly moves its way out from behind Jason, and looks at Sean. The figure bolts at Sean. DJ quickly crawls out of the cave, only to get captured on his way out the entrance.

Mandy and Tracy are in the kitchen making dinner for everyone. Mandy talks about Sean all the time, and how Sean won’t talk about anything long term. Hours go by, and the dinner in getting cold. Mandy goes out to look for the guys. Tracy is left in the house by herself, and fantasizes about Sean as she dances in her room.

DJ wakes up resting against a small shed that overlooks a hill. His arms and legs are tied up with duct tape. Two masked men insert a random hunter into a large barrel that has nails driven into the entire thing. The barrel is rolled down the hill. The hunter’s dead body is brought back up the hill, and laid on top of DJ. The barrel is also brought back up to the top of the hill, and DJ is placed inside. Will DJ be rolled down the hill, or is he being toyed with?

Tracy hears a noise inside the house. She walks through the house expecting to see someone from the group. She walks back into the kitchen, and a masked man is standing behind her, in the pantry. She hears his breathing. Tracy is knocked unconscious. She wakes up in a large dog cage in a small barn in the middle of the woods. Two masked men terrorize her by hitting the cage with baseball bats, and pouring animal blood on her. Will Tracy die in this cage, or is it just a game?

Sean is bound by ropes, and is being dragged over dirt roads behind a truck. He is able to escape before he is dragged down a paved road. Did Sean get lucky or was that part of the plan?

This twisted tail explores the minds of two sadistic and bored men who have no respect or appreciation for life, and a struggling couple that gets caught in their grasp. Sean and Mandy are forced to confront their fears and desires, and love for each other in the midst of infidelity. Everything hangs in the balance as Sean and Mandy are handcuffed and hung side by side, by their necks, in the barn. Is all hope lost, or are they in store for something bigger, and more shocking than they could ever imagine?
