Tired of going unnoticed at the office, Jordan Lilly pays a cheerfully naive mail room employee to act as a company bully so Jordan can beat him up and be crowned office hero.
Synopsis:Jordan Lilly is sick and tired of going nowhere. His jerk friends Charlie and Drew are more successful. His office crush Samantha doesn't know his name. And he's pretty sure his boss Harvey is an honest-to-God devil worshiper.
After watching a playground scuffle on his drive home from work, however, he hatches a plan to change all that. Jordan enlists Simon, a blissfully upbeat mail-room clerk, and, with the help of his friends, he trains Simon to be the office bully. Several difficult lessons later, Simon unleashes a reign of terror on his coworkers. And that's when Jordan swoops in, triumphantly besting Simon and taking the crown of “Office Hero.”
But Jordan gets more than he bargained for when the higher ups, pleased with Jordan's handling of the Simon incident, promote him to “Conflict Mediation Specialist” and place him in charge of policing bullying throughout the entire company. At first he demonstrates a real knack for it, impressing his new boss Curt Schilling (yes, that Curt Schilling), but it isn't long before Jordan becomes drunk on power (and whiskey) and his creative attempts to deal with other office bullies go too far turning him into the very thing he's paid to stop.
With remarkable speed Jordan alienates his friends, disgusts Samantha, and loses his job. And when he discovers that his former boss Harvey plans to embezzle money from the company and lay the blame on Samatha, no one believes him. So it's up to Jordan to make one final attempt to right his wrongs and prove that he's not the bully – he's the hero.
