Two brothers find the time travel connection between the Crucifixion and the 2005 World Series in an adventure that ends in loss, salvation, and joy in this spiritually up-lifting, life-affirming drama. Believe it to see it!
Synopsis:
Paul Cutler survives a robbery that leaves two friends dead, and his sister, Rachel, paralyzed. After therapy, Paul is hired by physicist Eva Morales as an intern. Eva’s project has a fatal flaw and is ending fast A chance remark by his brother Ben helps Paul fix the problem so her radical time travel experiment might succeed. Hoping to sell this project to the Pentagon, Eva’s boss, Steven Fox, seizes control of her lab - using her Mexican nationality as a security issue. Frustrated, Eva goes home to Guadalajara where Paul finds her- hoping to persuade her to return, so they can experiment in the lab - alone.
When they begin human testing, Eva returns to the 1992 downtown Guadalajara gas explosion to save her relatives. Eva is almost killed but, confesses on her return, that she heard the same mystery voice that Paul heard when he was shot. They are in this adventure together.
Eva starts stalling her research but Steven gets suspicious. With time running out, Paul and Ben travel to see the historical Jesus. A “divine” Jesus, Paul thinks, will have his answer. Paul and Ben get arrested, tried, and condemned to death. Meanwhile Steven catches Eva in her lab, and threatens to shut it down, trapping Ben and Paul in the past. Eva outwits Steven with her Olympic archery skill so the brothers can return safely. In a freakish storm, the lab explodes, killing Steven. From his hospital bed, Paul tells Eva that she will perform miracles if he fulfills his destiny, before his birth, and goes back to die. Eva heals Rachel, and then they and Ben flee to Mexico to start her amazing ministry.

Creative Notes:Changed the timeline of a few scenes to make the story more coherent. Some scenes have been lengthened to make the scene conclude more effectively. Added a scene of the Olympic medal ceremony to add emphasis to Paul's love for Eva - sandwiched in the hospital bed scene. Removed the elaborate escape sequence from the hospital - not necessary to story's conclusion. -
