In Santa Fe, a former party girl deceives her wealthy husband in order to have a baby, then finds herself trapped in a web of blackmail and murder.

Synopsis:
Sunny Miller's haunted by memories of her traumatic childhood, and by her "party girl" past.
When she marries wealthy British film director David Scott, it seems that her troubles are over. He lavishes her with affection and encourages her to pursue her dream of becoming an artist. But David wants a child -- and, if Sunny doesn't give him one soon, their marriage -- and her idyllic life on David's Santa Fe ranch -- may soon be over.
Months pass and Sunny’s unable to conceive. While David's out of town, she meets a handsome stranger -- Billy Morgan -- in a bar, becomes a victim of a "date rape" drug, and finds herself pregnant after all. She's afraid to tell David the truth, and nine months later gives birth to a beautiful baby girl, Hannah.
On Hannah's first birthday, Billy reappears. He threatens to tell David the truth about Hannah unless Sunny pays him off.
But when Billy’s found murdered, Sunny’s tied to the crime and flees with Hannah before she’s arrested. She goes to the commune where she grew up, and confronts her estranged father and the other eccentric aging hippie residents.
Sunny must confront the demons of her past – and present – in order to make a life for herself and her daughter.
