Synopsis: A Boomer “dirty dozen” penetrate Omega, the inner sanctum of a Government think tank, to obtain evidence of a "national defense" strategy due to severe budget deficits, to biologically cull all citizens born before 1960 with a forensically undetectable, natural death inducing prescription drug called V.E.R.V.E., an anagram for Vitality, Energy, Regularity, Vigor, Endurance.

    I tightened the structure. The story's science fiction's theme has now become more factual with the continually increasing lifespans of citizens verses their government's GDP ratio, which if not controlled, will inevitably bankrupt it
