Synopsis:
TAD, 14, is just like any other typical high school boy, except in one respect - he has a tail! Ostracized at school, Tad’s only friends are a skateboarder chick named TOMMY and geeky STU, each of whom are constantly getting picked by the lisping school bully and football star, BROCK. But when Tad shows monkey-like tail-swinging skills on the gymnastics team and becomes the school mascot for football games, he suddenly finds himself popular. Tad’s tail seems to have a mind of its own with a brash personality that gets Tad into a multitude of sticky situations. When Tommy purports Tad’s tail to be proof of Darwin’s theory of evolution in science class and disses manipulative honor society president and bible-thumper KELLY, Kelly becomes their mortal enemy. Kelly schemes with Brock to undermine Tad and restore themselves to the top of the school’s social order. She asks Tad to the homecoming dance, where she and Brock will spring their trap. But Brock and Kelly haven’t counted on the power of the friendships between misfits Tad, Tommy and Stu to turn the tables and win the day in a very unique and creative way.
