Synopsis:Verenia Fisher is a beautiful young enchantress who hates men & has dedicated her life to ruining them. J. Bradford Teller is a wanton middle-aged playboy on the verge of getting married and straightening out his life. Teller accepts a bet to remain celibate until his marriage in 3 weeks. Verenia accepts a bet to destroy Teller before he is married.
Verenia lures Teller into saving her from a colossal fire in the Hotel Pierre and then begins the attempt to seduce him. With help from his friends, Teller tries to avoid Verenia by escaping to adventures across the globe: extreme sports in Costa Rica, Africa, France and Hawaii; a safari on the African savanna.
Verenia is able to track Teller down no matter where he goes and tops some of his extreme sport prowess. But in the process, she falls in love with him. However, with much to lose, Teller resists her sincerity and charm.
He tries to distract himself further with parties at South Beach, but he can't avoid realizing nothing is much fun now without her.
The script climaxes with near apocalyptic destruction at Teller's wedding in Bridgehampton and ends with....ah well, better to read it.
