Creative Notes:
This piece developed over a 6 year period. I wrote it with my father, an immigration lawyer, who spent many years in Mexico. Using his law skills and knowledge of Mexico, my father and I created a dramatic and compelling story based around the drug trade and political problems between the US and Mexico.
