An average guy is the sole witness when a five-year-old girl is kidnapped. Without anything concrete to offer the police, he pursues the kidnappers himself, simply hoping to track them until the police arrive--but starting this parade is easier than stopping it.
Synopsis:It's a sleepy, gray Thanksgiving morning. Sam Drabing is picking up some last-minute groceries for his wife at a local department store. Then he witnesses the kidnapping of a five-year-old girl. He's the sole witness. There's no concrete information he can give the police, assuming they arrive before the kidnappers cross the state line. So he makes a split-second decision. He goes after them.
Drabing pursues the kidnappers across hundreds of miles on Thanksgiving morning via car, bus, and train, as the kidnapping escalates to a national scandal and police and media become involved in his chase. In the process, Drabing reveals a complex terrorist scheme--and this ordinary guy is the only person in the position to do something about it. How far can he go? Will he wind up the terrorists' own Thanksgiving roast?
