Synopsis: They say that there are just six degrees of separation between everyone on earth. If that’s true then our every action must have an impact far beyond what we can ever imagine.

That’s the theme for this stunning new film from Northern Ireland writer and director Kerry Rooney. “Wasteland” tells the story of six teenagers whose lives overlap over the course of a single Saturday. The film deals with a raft of modern issues from sexuality to survival. Ultimately it is a story about fate, luck, circumstance and the decisions that blur the lines between what makes us good or bad, right or wrong, living or dead.

Made entirely in Northern Ireland with a local cast and crew Wasteland is a movie not to be missed.
