The city that never sleeps is about to be awoken. Loud explosion's rupture, people are in a mass panic, mass confusion. As we escalate further along, something unspeakable begins to happen. We later begin to unravel the truth that NYC isn't the only ones in peril.
Synopsis:It was suppose to be a simple proposal, but everything soon was shatter, as Jackie and Roger fight to get out alive, through the city that never sleeps. As New York is put through another appalling attack, nobody quite knows what is going on, everybody is in a state of panic; people are rushing to get out of the City. We see a brief shot of some kind of creature that looks like a worm. Everybody is baffled, and confused, nobody pays attention really.
The military is still on high alert trying to do what they can to calm people, everybody is screaming it is another terrorist attack. However, everything stops. Weeks go by and the news report has come in saying, it was just a minor earthquake, nothing to worry about. People go about there everyday business, like nothing ever happened. Then New Years Eve comes, everybody is partying getting ready for another celebration that is until the unthinkable happens something terrible occurs. Something is rising out of the ground where the World Trade Center uses to be, pissed, and ready to ruin the once beautiful city.
This creature has antennae’s sticking out of it’s head, beady red evil eyes, It has near it stomach a wide-open black hole with sharp teeth going around the perimeter of it, on its back are spider legs. It has scales going down its legs; the hands are a sharp metal with three hooks on each side. Spikes are sticking out of its arms, and it stands up and is as tall as the Empire State Building. Everybody begins to scream, as more panic arises, people are trampled to death, a war breaks out in the heart of the city as missiles try to stop the monster, but nothing can stop it. And to make matters worst it vanished into thin air. We later fine out that it has the ability to cloak, and appear everywhere or anywhere it wants. How can you fight something you can’t see?
There are dead bodies everywhere the smell of flesh stinks up the air. The buildings are all in ruins, and it looked like a little kid had a Lego destruction match. Fire is engulfing the city, smoke is covering every area, it looks like fog, but everybody knows it is smoke. In Los Angeles another monster appears, on Long Island more monsters appear. They have the ability to create their own power, which consist of these Gargoyle like monsters who use this lighting power as it implodes everything insight. But these creatures have taken over the world.
Jackie and Roger band together with other survivors to escape the city that’s falling apart at its seams. Matters only get worst as they realized that their city is doomed forever, and there really isn’t any way out, the military have all been destroyed, the city lost communication with the outside. It is everybody for them. Now these ghastly creatures are threatening to take over our very existence. Could we fight back, is there anything we can do, or is the world forever doomed, as the light slowly begins to settle, what will be left when When Darkness Falls.
