Synopsis:
Emma Marshall is the most famous actress in the world. More money and fame than anyone could ask for, as well as a loving husband and beautiful daughter. On the set of her new movie, Emma gets a new stand-in. A mysterious woman named Lauren who happens to look just like her.
They’re friends, at first, but something’s not quite right with Lauren, an evil imbalance that threatens to surface at any moment. Lauren dreams of becoming famous herself. Her solution? Get rid of Emma Marshall and take her place.
She’ll poison Emma to get her off set. She’ll convince the Director to film scenes with her instead of the Star. She’ll transform herself, physically, into Emma’s identical twin. And she’ll seduce Emma’s husband.
Lauren puts her plan into motion, killing anyone who crosses her path. Emma catches on, but no one believes her. Not her husband, not the Director. However, Emma doesn’t quit. Even poisoned, she’ll fight to protect her family.
Thwarted at every turn, Lauren manages to elude Emma and the Police. Finally, she brings the violence home... by kidnapping Emma and her family in their own home. This leads to revelations about who Lauren really is and where she came from, and a violent confrontation between the two women to determine who will live on as the real Emma Marshall.
