Synopsis:Japan, medieval era. Present: The story starts as an old samurai dictates a story of his life.
Past: he was a samurai with the shogun fighting the invasion of the mongols. the shogun finds a prisoner with the mongols who is an European priest that practice the black ritual of evil. the shogun don't know that, he think he rescued him from the mongols as the mongols knew the evil priest intention and it was their intention of killing him.
Past+5 years: Three kinds are being separated from their parents as their mother being kidnapped and uncle (ninjitsu master) killed by the soldiers of the evil shogun - now controlled by the evil priest.
An old man (an angle, their true father) finds them, teach them the way of the ninja .after 17 years of living on a mountain cave they come about a ronin samurai (the story teller) who may lead them to find their lost mother. they set for a quest to find here just to find out that Japan is being ruled by the evil shogun controlled by an evil priest.
They decide to fight the shogun and priest, rescue their mother . The three kinds (now ninjas) with the samurai are on an epic journey uncover the mystical evil being . As they walk thru the adventure they find and revenge their village people death on the soldiers and officers involved.
the evil priest need special people (fallen angels, the three kinds mother) for a dark ritual. At the end they kill the shogun and priest. as the movie come to and end the three kinds find out they are dead for 17 years now and that the old man who trained them is an angel and their father, hence "Shadows of ghosts"
