Synopsis: During the eighteenth century the destiny of two men was revealed. Michael, having born witness to his parents death at the hands of vampires, was taken to England to safeguard The Amulet of Souls, a family heirloom given to him by his father. Rurik, the dark lord of Romania, was banished to rot in the forgotten graves of France. However, their paths were destined to cross once again. Once Rurik regained his freedom and ventured back to ravage Romania, Michael sets his will to avenge the loss of his parents. Along with his Jesuit companion, Eric, Michael sets off on an odyssey back to his homeland for revenge. Once in France, our heroes join Adrik, a Germain guide hired by the infamous Dr. Griffin, to transport them to their final destination. Through vile forests, foreboding waters, and lightning-scorched skies our heroes battle hoards of zombies, brides of the vampire lord, and even one of their own! Ultimately betraying his two companions for the promise of the Amulet's power, Adrik turns on Michael and Eric in a vain attempt to gain the ultimate power. Consequently, Adrik is defeated by Rurik in an epic sword confrontation which places the salvation of the entire world in peril. Rurik ultimately gains his immortal vampirism but has one last obstacle left standing in his wake. Michael slays the treacherous guide and sets his will to defeat his arch nemesis. The uniting of the Amulet forges the sword of Michael the Arch Angel allowing Michael to gain his vengeance on the dark lord and restore God's order to his home.

    Creative Notes:
    Working off of very small hourly wages, we paid for this movie out of pocket. We shot on miniDV camcorders, cast ourselves and friends, edited, mixed, and scored the movie ourselves. The original version of the screenplay was not written in correct format (At the time I had no knowledge of the film format!) The current version has been corrected with revisions.

    This screenplay was originally written in 2005 in incorrect format and with omissions from the story to make it easier for us to film. I've reformatted the original script to the correct film standard and have put back all of the creative ideas we had for the story, but were unable to film due to our budget! The test film will be up shortly!
