Bum Rush
Heartbreak, eviction, sexual harassment, and a bungled drug deal conspire to force two roommates to pose as hobos, riding the rails and running for their lives.
Synopsis:
PAUL WEBB has hit the wall.
Going nowhere, stuck in a dead end job, he is nearing his breaking point. There only two reasons he still bothers showing up to work at all are his office crush EVANGELINE and his friend JOHN BUMPER.
John has his own set of problems. He is divorced but still lives with his dominating ex-wife. He talks too much. He has a juvenile obession with sex. Worst of all, he constantly rubs his supervisor the wrong way.
On the eve of an offsite business seminar, John discovers a shocking secret about his boss - MR. HIGGINS. When Paul shares this secret with John, it starts a chain reaction that leads to the two of them left behind and stranded hundreds of miles from home in the middle of nowhere with nothing to their names.
The only option they have is to turn "hobo" and ride the rails, heading back home seeking revenge and to try to pick up the pieces of their lives. The journey will take them to places they never imagined. From panhandling on the street to a moonshine still deep in the forest. From soup kitchens to hitchhiking on the highway to hell. From dumpster diving to prowling around a senior assisted living center.
Lessons will be learned. Lives will be changed. Salads will be tossed. You will never look at a banana peel the same way again.

Creative Notes:It all started with a newspaper article about a hobo convention. The story was full of "colorful" characters. It seemed like ripe material for a raunchy comedy. We tossed around ideas, talked it out. We came up with a first draft then traded it back and forth for revisions. Seven months later - this is what we came up with - along with a bunch of format problems.
