Synopsis: Stalin's Gold is an action adventure set in the winter of 1981 that begins in Washington, DC and ends up in the snow-covered mountains of Alaska. It is the story of the search for the crash site of a WWII B-17 that crached loaded with gold, sent by Premier Joseph Stalin to the United States for safe keeping at the start of WWII as Nazi forces were about to overrun Moscow. A special clandestine unit of the CIA known as the Black Directorate has been set up by the White House to gather and distribute illegal funds for the Contras in South America in violation of US Senate directives. The Black Directorate learns that a surviving crew member from the WWII B-17 crash is in Walter Reed Hospital, is delusional and is babbling about lost gold. His story is confirmed and the man is murdered to protect the secret of the lost treasure. Maggie Manning, the sole surviving heir of the murdered old man fights off kiddnapers from the CIA with the help of Alex Lupo, a former solidier-of-fortune known as The Lone Wolf. She hires Alex as her bodyguard. She assembles a team to search for the the gold to save her father's company which is need of money. The story follows the efforts of Maggie and the team led by Alex, to locate the gold in the snow-covered mountains of Alaska before the remorseless agents of the Black Directorate and the Russian KGB can capture them. The tale is a tangled web of intrigue, action and romance that involves the higest levels of the government, the CIA and KGB all pitted against Maggie and Alex. There are high speed chases, gun battles and helicopter gunship attacks that reach a thrilling climax in the wilds of Alaska.
