Death is a Midnight Runner is the story of Ryan Armstrong, a 50 year old man who one night is arrested for a violent crime. While being interrogated, Ryan chooses this as the time to detail the grisly details of over 30 years worth of Murders he has committed.
Synopsis:This story follows family man Ryan Armstrong as he is arrested in connection with the disappearance of a College aged girl whom the police suspect has been murdered.
While in the interrogation room, Ryan, who is suffering from Pancreatic Cancer and realizes his time on this Earth is short lived, decides that now is as good a time as any to confess to Detective William Rosser all of the murders and missing persons he has been responsible for over the past 30 years.
While listening to Ryan's confession, Detective Rosser realizes that the man he arrested is no ordinary criminal and that by the end of the night he may very well be responsible for the apprehension of one of the most notorious killers the world has never known.
This is my Eighth draft of the story. The original story had the main plot points still in tact, but was much longer and needed many trims to make it a more lean and concise story.
