Synopsis:Tia, a gorgeous thief (of both hearts and money) is moving from New York to try and escape the bad she’s caused.
She moves into a small Utah town, where she works the graveyard at MAD Investors, within close proximity to a lab and prison. Here, she meets her manager Ronnie, an ex-college football star, and the two share an instant attraction.
In what’s supposed to feel like two movies in one, we shift to the lab. The head scientist has persuaded the prison to grant him permission to use another inmate for his cancer curing experiment. The first two inmates under his care are still under quarantine for being beastly, like zombies. The prison has no idea of this.
The prison grants one more request for an inmate, John Waldi, a patient so sick with cancer and filled with lesions, he just wants to die.
Meanwhile, Tia and Ronnie get better acquainted and she realizes that his sincerity is making her, genuinely, begin to fall for him.
Waldi’s lesions clear after going under the gas. Soon afterward, his health takes a dive, and he becomes even sicker than the previous inmates. His new lesions are pus filled bumps, and they are all over his body.
The pus erupts all over his cellmate...
The lab places Waldi in quarantine. Not only is Waldi turning into the undead, but so is his cellmate. The pus from the lesions is causing individuals to become infected, once they come in contact with it.
At the lab, Waldi attacks the scientists, one by one, while the prison is being infected by Waldi’s cellmate. The hungry monsters are now heading toward MAD Investors.
As the movie starts to blend in harmony, the brood enters the corporate company, eating everyone in their path. As luck would have it, Tia and Ronnie are, now, the only two left. Ronnie is bitten, and it’s only a matter of time before he changes.
Almost home free, Ronnie turns into a zombie. He derails Tia’s escape route, using his ex-college football speed, to chase her throughout the office.
Tia finally escapes, but when Ronnie bursts pus all over her, she has no clue that her escape to Salt Lake City will be her last.
