Creative Notes:
I corrected some errors in Character Name consistency that were making it difficult to follow. I also corrected some other errors and deleted the opening scene and the political rally, plus moved a few scenes around.

A commune of gifted orphaned children have the power to alter human behavior and stop crime in large populations. But when the children's proctor misuses the orphan's power for his own corrupt agenda one scientist risks her life to save the children.

Synopsis:
THE GIFT - A Sci-Fi thriller about a researcher’s discovery that gifted children can collectively develop a consciousness powerful enough to alter the behavior of nearby communities. His partner attempts to do just that in New York City by building a commune of orphan gifted children on Brothers Island right smack in the middle of New York Cities burrows.
Everything it appears to work great. Crime is on a major decline, and the city is turning into a utopian society. But when the Doctor tries to extend the reach of the G.I.F.T.S. by creating smaller pods in the outlyiing burrows the children begin to experience reverse transference and the Utopian society immediately takes a downward turn. The researcher is mysteriously murdered and the daughter is left to take over his research. But when she sees the problem with the gifted she tries to put a stop to it and immediately becomes at risk.

NOTE: There are some errors in this script as I rushed to get it in by the deadline. One important error is that Doctor Hans Lindberg is the same as Doctor Fletcher. Doctor Lindberg is killed missing from the group of board members later -
