Synopsis:Set in the early part of the decade, story evolves around Keith CYRUS, a brash, hard hitting, American Black Detective and his tough as nails Jewish partner Danny SOLOMON, two of New York City's police hip to the underpinnings of the Hip Hop generation, are assigned to the murder of RICK BLACKMON, the CEO of a premier Hip Hop and R&B label- Jericho Records. Pressured by the department to find Rick's killer, Cyrus and Solomon interrogate artists on the Jericho label.
An investigation that illuminates a sexual affair between Cyrus and NINA PEARL, an R&B sensation Cyrus fell for while undercover and nearly killed in the attack on Rick. In building a case against Rick's nemesis BIG BLACK, a Bronx bred Puerto Rican gangster believed to be the catalyst for Rick's murder, leads the duo inside of a Harlem housing project, and into a gut wrenching climax that proves murder just isn't in the music but music is murder.
