  • Trailer 53 - fun comedy adventure
    05/31/12
    Creative Notes:
I captured the fun comedy aspect of it, though because of the title I decided it had to end a little serious and dramatic for the title to make sense. Though the way it ends sort of in a funny way, so it's not too serious, I hope.
  • Trailer 52 - Road Trip Romantic Comedy
    05/31/12
    Creative Notes:
My take on the film, based somewhat on my rewrite proposal. The journey is now from Pittsburgh, PA to San Francisco, CA. Owen is the likable leader. Rishi and Jeff have been merged into a single character. Hailey (previously MoBu3) is the real love interest for Owen.

  • Trailer 49 - The Agoraphope's Road Trip
    05/31/12
    Creative Notes:
The concept for this take on what the movie could become is first to cut out the guns and minimize 'fear of gays' as a comic device. Then maximize the fun out of "doesn't everybody lie online?" The ultimate third-act answer to that is: even when we're playing and pretending, we still are who we pretend to be.
  • Trailer 48 - Comedy, Drama, Adventure
    05/31/12
    Creative Notes:
As I was working on this I didn't know what I was going to roll out with. I stuck with the main script as the Francisco's cut with a specific goal in mind. I wanted the users to be intrigued by this movie and actually see it because of the thriller like trailer along with the obvious comedy and drama. I'd go see this movie!
  • Trailer 47 - Road Trip Comedy Adventure

  • Trailer 35 - Classic Cut
    05/30/12
    Creative Notes:
With a title like "I think my Facebook Friend is Dead!" I think this project needs high-stakes "in over their head" excitement to go with the comedy. I'd like to see more of a "Date Night" for 20-somethings combined with the road trip romance. This trailer is my attempt to reflect that tone.
  • Trailer 34 - Mocumentary Cut
    05/29/12
    Creative Notes:
I think this project could use even more "in over their head" thrills (like a 20-somethiing "Date Night"), but I think the perfect way to tell the story would be as a "found footage" or "documentary" style narrative. For my trailer, I introduced a director character, but Jeff Pants could also transition from "Blogist" to "Vlogger.'
  • Trailer 33 - How far would you go
