VELAI
Velai is the story of a rare white tiger, who has to overcome the obstacles posed by his coloration to survive in the jungle. Along the way he befriends a young human child and together they are able to overcome all the obstacles being thrown at them.
Synopsis:
In the lush, dense jungles of India lies the myth of a mythical beast that roams the land, gracing its surroundings with its majestic beauty.
The rare white tiger, according to the human indigenes of the jungle environs is the King of Beasts. An animal so elusive, that only a handful of people in the last century have ever seen it in the wild.
Velai is the story of a white tiger who overcomes the hardships posed by his unique coloration to become the King of the beasts. It is a story of perseverance and never giving up despite the odds being stacked against him.
Growing up, he realizes that his white skin might be more of a burden rather than a gift. To his siblings, he is an anomaly. A white tiger loses its ability to camouflage in the wild because of its complexion, which puts it in a disadvantageous position as compared to normal colored tigers, Because of this difference, his siblings constantly tease him on how he will never become a good hunter.
His biggest supporter is his mother who firmly urges him on, letting him know how special he is. Velai’s biggest asset is his courage and indefatigable attitude. He is never fazed by obstacles and continually strives to prove his doubters wrong.
Through various encounters and surviving various hardships, Velai matures into a formidable hunter and eventually becomes the alpha male in the jungle, the true King of Beasts.
