Synopsis:Johnny Jumpman comes from a pedigree of world class pool players. Broke and at odds with his father because of his lack of interest in pool as a teen, he begins his quest at the age of 30 to save face and make his father proud.
He sets out to win a prestigious amateur tournament in which the winner gets fifty-thousand dollars and a spot on the professional billiards tour. But when Johnny finds out that he's a little rusty and that the competition has gotten much stiffer, he is going to need some help. Along for the ride is a conceited, selfish, and big-mouthed buffoon whom Johnny just met. His name is Ralph. Ralph claims to want to help Johnny but has absolutely nothing to offer but ignorance and friendship.
These two complete strangers then embark on a wild journey in getting to know each other and, moreover, becoming winners for once in their lives.
