When a young man from the future crash lands on Earth while rescuing his shipwrecked father, he is kidnapped and forced to replicate a bacterial fuel technology that will destroy our reliance upon fossil fuels.
Project collaboration: By Permission
Synopsis: The Earth is dying. Our reliance on Oil has reached a point of no return.

Oceans have risen over half a foot. Polar bears are extinct. Small island nations have
vanished under the sea. The planet has ten years until the effects of Global Warming are
irreversible.

No one knows how to save the planet... until now.

Earth: 2112. While returning from a galactic environmental summit, the Vice-President‘s
space ship is swallowed by a worm hole and transported back to present day Earth only years
away from a cataclysmic event. In a desperate attempt to save him, the VP’s son plunges his
own ship through the same worm hole.

Earth: Today. In return for passing favorable legislation that allows drilling in protected areas, a Senator who is a self-proclaimed environmental advocate is secretly accepting large bribes from the nation’s most powerful Oil Company Executive.

The shipwrecked father and son are both captured and held by the Oil Company Executive, and in exchange for their safe return home, the boy must give up the secret to the bacterial fuel. If not, his father dies.

Knowing that the fuel will revolutionize the ordinary citizen’s ability to travel great distances
with no harm to the planet, the Oil Company Executive is poised to become one of the
wealthiest men in the world… and he has no intention of sharing that power.

One ship, one way home; one choice between the love of a son, and the future of a planet in
peril.
