When terrorists invade the suburbs, the quarreling residents of the cul-de-sac must band together to defeat the invaders with the fate of the world at stake.
Synopsis:When Goliath and his band of jihadists invade a top secret research lab in the Maryland mountains, they wreak havoc and make a discovery that will lead them south to the peaceful suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia.
Meanwhile, we get to know the residents of Peachtree Close.
There is Steven Puryear, his wife and young daugther, a nice Christian family so cute you just want to pinch their cheeks. Steven is a biologist intent on preserving life.
They have just moved in next door to Colonel Herschel Rabon USMC Retired, his wife and teenage son. Herschel likes to keep wild dogs and practice shooting guns in the back yard.
Then there is Jimmy Jolly, his wife and twin boys who live the next house over. Jimmy does not care much for his new neighor Osama Hussein.
After discovering the death and destruction left behind at the Maryland lab, the DHS sets out to locate the evildoers that are responsible. We follow Bowman, the grizzled veteran and his sexy young female partner Truelove as they are part of the manhunt. You see, Goliath murdered Bowman's old partner.
All the characters come together for a climactic battle of good versus evil in the American suburbs.
This is more of a polish of the second draft. Also, I've trimmed a couple of pages off of the development of the characters on the cul-de-sac and added a new scene involving the terrorists.
The character of Goliath is a comic book version of Bin Laden the same way that The Red Skull is a comic book version of Hitler. The Colonel Herschel Rabon character is inspired by Rambo and the Bowman character is inspired by Dirty Harry but with a comic take on each.
