    Creative Notes:
    Fine-tuned the dialogue to make Leon and Sam's self-awareness more subtle. Further simplified the rules of angelic powers. Expanded the Christmas carolers role on page 41, hoping this scene will play as funny as the scene in "My Best Friend's Wedding" where those goofy kids are singing in the background while Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz are trying to have a serious conversation. Added jokes.

    Creative Notes:
    This rewrite is based on terrific notes from Jarrett and the Story Department. Gone is the sexy devil. She complicated the story which complicated the rules of the universe, which were confusing. This is more streamlined, focusing on the friendship and growth of Leon and Sam (Ted in the original). Almost like a buddy comedy. More jokes. Archangel Gabriel is now more of a father figure.

    This is about the eighth revision. The screenplay has had input from a couple consultants, and the biggest change I've made was to make the story less derivative, which is why I added the devil complicating Leon's efforts.
