A Divine Comedy for the 21st century. Two lovers are on the verge of separating when they both seemingly die. Although death is merely the start of their journey as they are tested by supernatural forces, both malicious and ally, to expose the true potential of their souls.
Synopsis: In the midst of their deteriorating relationship, Gem and Charlie both seemingly die in two separate and catastrophic events. Their departure from this world however, is simply entrance into another.
The former lovers both come face to face with The entity known as The Vox. They are told of tests that will await them as a last ditch effort to expose the true potential of their souls before they "move on..."
As difficult as the challenges become, the difficultly is amplified by Gem and Charlie's strained relationship. While one chooses to run back to the world they consider normal, the other chooses to press on into the unknown. The trials are further hindered by two malicious beings: a boy named Sinn, and a beautiful young girl known as False Face.
Continuing on their separate paths, both Gem and Charlie are still conflicted with the one they left behind. However, when they finally meet again, they find that the other's mind is set too far into what the other wanted most. One choose the world, the other risked the unknown, but both will have to ultimately have fight one another to get what they want.
At the core of all the supernatural events is the relationship that both Gem and Charlie attempt to mend, but is ultimately ripped apart at the seems. Is there a chance for grace when the reality you cling to is obliterated before your eyes?
