Synopsis:The Old Southwest. Jeremiah Brown, an infamous gunslinger, returns to his hometown, Cold Spring City, to settle his recently deceased mother's affairs, and buy her a decent headstone. Yes sir, Cold Spring City, the same tiny ranching town he was driven from some 20 years prior. You see, young Jeremiah possessed a power that scared every God loving person in town. Jeremiah Brown had the ability to move things just by "thinking on them." Telekinesis. A "Nudger." Few of the locals were around all those years ago, and little of Cold Spring City is as it was then. The once thriving ranching town is now a booming mining town run by a powerful man who after a cattle blight, and several suspicious "Indian" attacks on ranchers' homesteads, has managed to buy up most of the land around town. On this land, he now mines copper. The local sheriff is no match for his charm or money. He’s hired "Private Security" to look after his own interests. And unfortunately for the sheriff, one of his main interests is the pretty young widow who is currently the sheriff’s girl, and the proprietor of the Sleep Inn where Jeremiah has rented a room. Though only a handful remain who know Jeremiah's face, most townsfolk know his deadly reputation and the strange stories of the gunslinger that can't be shot, and can't be jailed. Rumors begin to spread. The widow’s 12-year-old son takes a liking to Jeremiah, as well as an ill-advised interest in his gun-slinging abilities. And the Widow too, who against all her better Christian judgement, has fallen for Jeremiah's bad-boy mystique. Jeremiah's suspicions flare about the way his mother lost her farm, and he decides to dig deeper for the truth behind the "sale." As always seems to be the case in Jeremiah's life, nothing is achieved without discord, and try though he may not to bring pandemonium down onto Cold Spring City, Jeremiah is accused of vicious murders on the outskirts of town. True to his lone gunfighter persona, he turns to run, but is pulled back by uncharacteristic emotions, and soon finds himself cornered into a classic battle against power and corruption, to save his own life, and the lives of those around him.
