An early Cherokee medicine man who sacrificed himself for his people returns to Bell Creek in search of his head in order to begin the new reign of the Cherokee Nation.

Synopsis: In the 1840's a band of Cherokee led by Ka Hoo'tee, the Great one, live near the area of present day Bells Creek. They are remnants of the once great Cherokee Nation who escaped the Trail of Tears. A wealthy settler, McElhaney Norris forces Ka Hoo'tee to sacrifice himself to save his people but he vows to return and lead his people once again.
160 years later Ka Hoo'Tee arises and begins taking the heads of victims in Bells Creek as he searches for his own. Myra, a beautiful young Cherokee woman is enlisted by one of the Ancient ones to assist him in his journey. Inspector Clay and his friend Dr. Mackie search for a deranged serial killer refusing to believe the local legends. Damien Norris, the ancestor of the early settler has possesion of the head and has his own plans for world domination.
Playing into the mix is a nearly lost manuscript, the mysterious Mathers, and a cast of victims.
