Section 12
In the middle of World War II, Gabriella Doria, Italian aristocrat, British spy, four centuries old vampire, is pursued in Venice by Nazi SS officer Kurt Hesselman, a vampire hunter with occult powers.
Synopsis:
As the Second World War rages, Gabriella Doria, Venetian aristocrat, allied secret agent, vampire, is in the peril of her four hundred year unlife. SS Oberfuehrer Kurt Hesselman has hunted down and destroyed the vampire, Henri Darcier, who had made Gabriella one of the undead centuries ago. Darcier, like Gabriella, was an agent of Section 12 of British Intelligence, which employs operatives skilled in the use of magic or possessing powers of the occult.
Section 12's head, an ancient wizard named Seamus O'Neil, is confronted with a threat to his entire organization. One by one, his agents are being executed by a Nazi killer whom O'Neil soon finds has powers similar to his own.
Gabriella will be Hesselman's next target unless O'Neil can devise a way to deal with the Nazi vampire hunter. And so he journeys to Venice where, with Gabriella, he will confront Hesselman and try to stop him.
