A college slacker unites the eccentric employees of a floundering Renaissance Faire to save it from a greedy land developer.

Synopsis: After getting fired from his mother's dream job, college slacker JOSH MCMANUS is given a choice: find a summer job to cover the down payment on his new dream car, or lose it. After an exhaustive search, Josh discovers the only place still hiring is the cheesy local Renaissance Faire. As luck would have it, Josh is greeted with open arms by KING STANLEY, the overzealous owner of the Faire. Josh immediately has an unfortunate run in with the the arrogant knights and their pompous leader, KEVIN. Luckily, Josh is befriended by GARY, the only black employee of the Faire, JENNY, a shy pickle salesgirl, and the stoner duo of TUCK and DAVE.

Just as Josh starts getting used to the eccentric employees and the fanatical King, greedy land developer TED VAN BOLTON threatens to bulldoze the Faire and build a shopping mall. When the King sends Josh and Gary out on a "quest" to save the day, they discover the fairground is actually owned by MARLIN ENGLEWOOD, a reclusive billionaire who demands the Renaissance Faire workers to prove themselves in a series of increasingly bizarre challenges against the land developers.

Creative Notes:

"Huzzah!" is an homage to the classic summer movies of the 80's such as "Caddyshack" and "Better Off Dead". It's somewhat based on a real event, a Northern California Ren Fest that was shut down and the land developed into housing and shopping. I tried to imagine what the last summer of that Ren Fest would be like.
