No Feeling Blue
What surprised me the other night watching Touching Blue was how an almost table type rehearsal/reading captivated me to watch the whole movie to the end, and an hour past my bedtime -- Very good story! Acting for the most part gave depth to the characters and although sets were close to nonexistent, they used what they had and let my imagination to fill in the rest. This definitely shows what can be accomplished with next to nothing budgets to push a script/good story.

Many of the actors were as good as any film or TV stars in my opinion . I would like to see what the director could do with more resources .

Top Notch
What can I say that hasn't bee said already. This was a fantastic test movie. From the actors to the direction, everything was top notch. I was so engrossed with the story that I never felt like I was watching a table read. I look forward to seeing the finished product on the big screen.

Rougher than the animated version, but still engaging.
Softened Version (with apologies ;-)
This didn't feel at all like the animated draft -- it was somewhat clumsy in both it's choice of actors and in their delivery / interpretation. The exception was improvement in the understanding of Henry (with good work by the actor).
The animated draft reminded me of a precursor to something like "Elektra" - vital and energetic. This version was rougher, and more heavy -- brooding almost.
This script has loads of potential, and it does deserve a real cast. This version, was, as stated, an energized stage play. Given its restrictions, it was a good effort and worth watching.
