Great story. I like the fact that most people are familiar with "Once upon a time", but bringing in the twelve princesses and the timing was great. The dialogue is good and the characters are good.It is difficult to give too much detail of character strength and emotions without seeing the actions/feelings on the characters face and body movements. I can spend hours with a shot, and a characters face ensuring that the character articulates all the strength they can into one emotion that harnesses your audience on who to root for, feel sorry for, cheer for, and who to love. My daughter is 26 now and she lives for a good musical. I think the motion picture industry has seen far to few a good musical. However, a good musical has to be perfect! Or very near perfect! Great job everyone...

I enjoyed the premise and the songs. A good retelling of the old fairy tale.

My kids and I enjoyed watching this show together even though it was in the rough draft state. We like that it was good clean family fun. It even kept my 5 year old's attention. We would love to see this in the theater.

I watched this with my daughter..we found it to be very sweet. Things we'd change..too many songs..though the music can set the tone of the movie..too many songs are distracting. We couldn't stand "nincompoop" being uttered repeatedly..yanick..should have caught December...not franc..when she fell from the giants arms..also the jokes need to appeal to parents as well as children..ex. shrek..the first movie...overall...adorable..with just a little tweaking..it will be a great movie..one that that i would like to see!

Little girls would love it. Plus there is a princess for everyone.. With each princess being named for a month of the year. Girls will try and pick out which princess is their birth month. How did Franc with a c get stuck on the other side? A couple of the songs are a little show tuney esp. For a live action movie.I'm confused how the fairy leader gets back and forth with the flower and the slaves if they are trapped.make the spy gnome a little less likeable.i also feel like more tension should be felt about them getting trapped. Bob sacrificing him self was a nice touch. But they were saved either too quick or to easily. It would be extremely expected but I was a little disappointed since you made him an orphane that he wasn't a prince. But I suppose it shows anyone can get a princess. Plus I kind of feel bad for the fairy leader.they tried to save the Queen but were banished because they couldn't. That makes the king pretty evil. maybe there is a way to make the queens death a little more dramatic to give more of a reason to banish all the happy fairies.

I’m late in the game when it comes to contributing input to 12 Princesses, but better late then never!

I really like the premise, especially how you tweaked the original Grimm tale to make it your own. If there is any constructive criticism to add, I’d just take it further. Define more of the world.

In regards to story structure, you did excellent! I would punch up key moments, especially act endings and the midpoint.

Characters are very strong. The besides December, the 11 other princesses are the tricky part.

I really like the effort you put in the dialogue, especially the sung versus. I’m by no means very qualified in sung verse, but well done. If there’s anything, maybe another look at the transitions from spoken to sung, and vice versa.

The emotion was good, but probably the part of the screenplay that was the least awesome. For me, some of the emotion could benefit from being more atypical from other fairy tales. I love Franc, whereas Bob could surprise me a little more.

Hope something on here helps. REALLY SWEET JOB.

PS: I would just add that no one should really be giving you one or two stars on your story simply because your work speaks for itself being on the development slate.

First of all, I'm wondering what age range this is targeting, because I have to say that my 4 year old asked to watch the "movie" again, immediately after we watched it the first time. She really liked the music and I was impressed. Personally, I'm not sure the escaping to dance thing is appealing to me. I would be more interested in it if it wasn't just to dance. If your prime target is children or young people, I think it would be great if they could escape to do something more constructive...and maybe dance as well. I like the idea of twelve princesses and their names. Could you give a storyline to more princesses. I understand that you couldn't give a storyline to each character or the movie would last forever (that said, maybe a series of movies??). I think that children's princess movies are far too materialistic in nature, they promote the need for wealth, beauty and a man to rescue you. As a mom of a daughter, I wouldn't want her to think that's what's important in life. Sure love is important and that could be a piece of the pie, but encouraging education, growth (all forms), compassion, ingenuity, integrity, creativity...I could go on. I think there's a deep need in children/young people's programming and entertainment. My daughter loves the ideas of princesses and fairies, but I have to admit that I steer more toward fairies because they seem to be written with more character and substance. The only princess that I don't mind is Rapunzel (Tangled), she's got spunk, she's smart and kind of independent. With 12 princesses you have the opportunity to make them all individuals with their own special traits, talents, and the ability to deliver a positive message or be a "role model". The male character could also serve to teach a lesson or smash a stereotype. Depending on whether this destined to be animation or live action, I'd recommend lots of sparkles, magic, "fairy dust", pixie power moments. I have to admit that I even like that. I tend to watch more animation than any other genre, but live action whimsical movies are also a favorite of mine. Hope that helps....you asked!
